2012 has been such an amazing year for me! It was an honour to join these people on their weddings and be entrusted with recording every moment for future generations! I’ve shot in London, UK and destination weddings in France, Italy, Kenya and USA.

Thank you to everyone for their hospitality and friendship, these are just a few of the highlights, enjoy…..and happy new year! :)

Elizabeth and Andrea we married in the Italian seaside town of Ravello. I have shot weddings in nearby Positano but never here and what an amazing location it turned out to be! Locations help make for a memorable wedding, but it’s the people who make it special and this wedding was no exception, there was a diverse mix of guests from Europe the US and beyond, a great bunch of people! I wish I could shoot this wedding all over again :)

43 degrees heat is hot, even for Las Vegas! It’s a dry heat so actually it’s quite easy to deal with but water and air-conditioning definitely help! Andrea was born and bred in Las Vegas so it was a good idea to capture some of the old neon signs from Las Vegas casinos. I knew Andrea and Kenny were due to move out to Dallas after the wedding so I wanted to photograph as much of Vegas as possible for them. The wedding it self was lovely, beautifully decorated surroundings and lots of fun. Andrea is a wedding photographer in the USA so it was an honour to photograph her most important day!

Zoe and Symon married at Kew Gardens near Richmond. They had a traditional Jewish vailing ceremony in the Cambridge Cottage followed by the full ceremony later. I brought my studio lighting for some fun portraits in the evening – always great seeing people’s characters and costumes! The gardens looked fantastic and provided a stunning backdrop, I’ll have to go back one day and explore.

Skye and Richard travelled from Sydney, Australia to have their wedding in the wonderful Dordogne region of France. I have photographed a wedding at Chateau La Durantie before so was aware of how beautiful the venue and area is. The Chateau was in fine condition as always and was festooned with gorgeous antiques. Guests came from all over the world to celebrate with Skye and Richard, we had lovely weather, people and of course venue! I stayed with a local friend of mine who owns one of the best B&B’s I’ve visited, Magnolia Maison, it has the best breakfast for 1000 miles! Thanks to Skye and Rich for making me feel so welcome, I have another wedding booked at the chateau next june, can’t wait!

Well what can I say? Everything about Katherine and Tim’s day was perfect, great weather, venues and most importantly great people! The low sun was a photographer’s dream. Tim is a wedding photographer himself so I was honoured to cover it for him :)
